New York is the flattest answer on this page. The pharmacy program states that weight loss is not and never has been a covered indication, and names the GLP-1 agonists as excluded for it. The regulation it cites is narrower than the summary: it refuses payment for a drug whose sole clinical use is weight reduction, which by its own words reaches Saxenda and not Wegovy or Zepbound. Anyone appealing a denial should read both.
