Alabama: what Medicaid covers

Alabama answers only one of the three. Its preferred drug list carries a footnote saying Zepbound is preferred with clinical criteria for obstructive sleep apnea with obesity and non-covered for weight reduction without it. Wegovy and Saxenda are named nowhere in it, in either the alphabetical or the therapeutic-category edition, and none of the state’s own documents says why. The list prints only preferred brands and points readers elsewhere for the rest, so their absence is a gap in what we can check rather than a refusal.
