Florida: what Medicaid covers

Florida Medicaid excludes weight-control medications from its prescribed drug benefit, and the July 1, 2026 preferred drug list names no weight-loss brand. The diabetes versions of the same molecules, Ozempic and Mounjaro, are on the list with prior authorization, but the weight-loss drugs are not covered.
