Medicaid coverage
Idaho: what Medicaid covers
Idaho puts the exclusion in its administrative rules rather than in a formulary, which is the stronger place for it: the rule lists the drug classes Medicaid excludes and names agents when used for the treatment of obesity. The exclusion is written around the USE, so it does not by itself close the other indications these drugs carry, and Idaho has published no criteria we could read either way.
