Comparison
hybrid vs brandedNoom vs WeightWatchers
Noom and WeightWatchers both started as weight-loss programs and both now run a clinic that can prescribe a GLP-1. They are not the same purchase. Eli Lilly lists WeightWatchers as one of five independent telehealth companies on its own site and publishes the price: $149 a month for the care, or $74 a month if you pay for a year up front, with the medication charged separately.
How the two compare in detail
Noom shows "Starting at $149" in its page description, and the Noom Med page itself carries no price on any product and never says what period the $149 covers: the words "per month", "a month" and "/mo" appear nowhere in the document. WeightWatchers delivers care through an affiliated medical group it names, WeightWatchers Clinic, and its annual report contains no compounding language at all. Noom Med lists Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound and Mounjaro alongside two of its own compounded lines, and names neither a prescriber nor a dispensing pharmacy. On the five checks this site runs, WeightWatchers answered four and Noom answered two. Both were read on 30 August 2026.
What each one charges
Medication only. Both companies bill the membership separately, and neither membership includes any medicine.
Noom

- A starting figure with no period attached. Noom never says what $149 buys
WeightWatchers
- Membership
- Care only, at the monthly rate. Medication is charged separately
Where they differ
Each line is one criterion. A line that names a company names it on that criterion only. Nothing here says which provider anybody should choose.
-
What the headline price buys
WeightWatchersLilly publishes WeightWatchers at $149 a month for care, or $74 a month on an annual plan, medication excluded. Noom states "Starting at $149" with no period attached anywhere in the document, so it cannot be compared to a monthly rate or to anything else.
-
Whether a price appears on the page you land on
WeightWatchersBoth technically publish a price before an intake form. WeightWatchers price is on Lilly own panel. Noom price is in the page description only: every product on the visible page is a "Get started" button under "SEE IF YOU RE ELIGIBLE", and a reader who opens it sees no figure at all.
-
Who prescribes
WeightWatchersWeightWatchers states that its medical services are delivered through an affiliated medical group, WeightWatchers Clinic. Noom Med refers to "our clinical team" and "your clinician", names nobody and gives no licensing state.
-
Which pharmacy dispenses
No differenceNeither names one. This cell is open on both records and renders as not checked rather than as a finding against either company.
-
Compounding
No differenceNoom Med sells two compounded lines of its own, Noom GLP-1Rx and Noom Microdose GLP-1Rx, and discloses in its own boilerplate that "any compounded medications are not approved by the FDA or reviewed for quality, safety or efficacy". WW International is a public company and its annual report carries no 503A or 503B language anywhere, which is why that record reads retail. Neither fact is a safety finding on its own; it decides what is legally in the vial.
-
Which medicines each one lists
NoomNoom Med lists both molecules people search for, semaglutide and tirzepatide, as Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, Mounjaro and the Wegovy pill. The WeightWatchers record covers tirzepatide and orforglipron, so semaglutide is not on it.
-
Cancelling
No differenceBoth can be canceled without a phone call, and both carry a deadline worth knowing. Noom must be canceled before 11:59 p.m. Eastern on the day before the next billing date, and an app-store subscription has to be canceled at the store instead. WeightWatchers processes requests within 72 hours and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, so neither button stops a charge today.
-
LegitScript certification
No differenceNeither publishes one this site could verify. Noom carries a LegitScript link it wrote itself with no seal served by LegitScript behind it, and no LegitScript reference of any kind was found for WeightWatchers. Anyone can write the link; only LegitScript can serve the seal.
The same five checks, both companies
Checked by hand on each company's own pages. A hatched cell means nobody has confirmed it yet, which is not the same as a no.
